Purchasing land for conservation purposes is the most effective form of stewardship. To that end, we are really excited to launch our Keep It Real campaign to raise funds to secure, protect and restore natural lands within the Cootes to Escarpment EcoPark System:
Since 2013, the partners in the Cootes to Escarpment EcoPark System partners have acquired 234 acres of lands for conservation but to continue doing so, we need support from the community. That is why we have launched the Keep It Real campaign; a space where you can donate as little or as much as you can.
We are overwhelmed and excited that a generous donour has pledged to match every dollar that you donate between now and December 31st! Please share and thank you in advance!
OPIRG McMaster has played a role since the beginning of the C2E plan, with Coordinator of Volunteers staff Randy Kay representing OPIRG at stakeholder advisory committee meetings.
