The Guatemala Working Group works in conjunction with other grassroots organizations in Guatemala and Canada for structural change towards justice, equality and dignity. Some of our partner organizations include:
* Nuestra Voz (A Women's collective geared towards popular education and the eradication of violence against women),
* The Alliance for Peace and Life (works against free trade deals that will devastate the natural environment and threaten human life),
* Campesino Committee of the Highlands (produces Cafe Justicia—a fair trade plus coffee available at OPIRG-- and organizes programs revolving around education, political and social reality, alternative economies.
We are also work in solidarity with other social justice groups in organizing local events around Guatemalan issues such as. Canadian mining is a particular issue that has world-wide criticism.
